Retired plugin
Popular Authors
Moving to Top 10 Pro
Back up your site, install the latest Top 10 Pro, and deactivate the standalone Popular Authors plugin. Check your author lists after switching.
Existing blocks
Top 10 Pro renders blocks created with the retired Popular Authors plugin. You can convert them to the Top 10 Pro blocks in the editor.
Widgets and time ranges
Top 10 Pro includes Popular Authors widgets with overall and custom-period lists. Check your selected time range after switching.
Shortcodes and template tags
Top 10 Pro supports the existing [wzpa_popular_authors] shortcode and wzpa_list_popular_authors() template function, so existing placements can continue to display your author lists.
Check your layouts
Review your blocks, widgets, shortcode output, and any custom CSS after switching. Keep the standalone plugin deactivated when Top 10 Pro is active.
